Responsibilities:

• Assist Long-Term Care Case Manager with Medicaid matters
• Perform long-term care consultations with potential clients to determine Medicaid eligibility
• Collaborate with team members to develop comprehensive estate and long-term care plans
• Process nursing home Medicaid applications
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to offer holistic client support; assist clients as needed with nursing home, assisted living or independent placement, or in-home caregivers
• Visit care facilities to deliver brochures and educate on our services

Qualifications: 

• The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience with nursing home billing, DFCS Medicaid case management, or as a medical social worker
• Ability to conduct thorough consultations to assess Medicaid eligibility
• Proven track record of processing Medicaid applications efficiently and accurately
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and healthcare professionals
• Excellent communication skills for educating care facilities about our services
• Ability to work with attorneys to develop comprehensive estate and long-term care plans tailored to client needs
• Proficient in coordinating client support for nursing home, assisted living, or in-home care placements.

Probate Attorney

• Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients regarding probate matters, estate planning, and administration.
• Manage the probate process from start to finish, including preparing and filing legal documents, representing clients in court proceedings, and facilitating communication between all parties involved.
• Conduct thorough reviews of estate plans, wills, and trusts to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Handle contested probate matters and disputes, including will contests, claims against estates, and fiduciary litigation.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals, including estate planners, financial advisors, and accountants, to develop comprehensive strategies for clients’ estate planning needs.
• Stay informed about changes in probate laws and regulations, and ensure that clients are aware of any potential impact on their estate plans.
• Provide exceptional client service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of client communications, case files, and billing activities.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience practicing probate law and estate planning, with a proven track record of success.
• In-depth knowledge of probate procedures, estate administration, and trust administration.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and statutes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate legal concepts clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
• Proficiency in legal research and case management software.

• Experience handling high-net-worth clients and complex estate planning matters.
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
