We Fight for Those Who Fought for Us

At Elder Law of Georgia, P.C., we dedicate extensive experience and resources to helping those who served our country and protected us. Located in Gainesville, attorney Eric Owens is one of the few VA accredited attorneys in the nation, and he guides veterans and their families through the complex process of applying for the Aid and Attendance pension.

NEED TO KNOW: VETERANS AID

The Veterans Aid and Attendance Pension

This benefit is available to veterans who served — although not necessarily fought — during any wartime and who have low income and a disability that may or may not be connected to military service.

Benefits to You

If you are a veteran, spouse or spouse of a deceased veteran who served during a qualified war period and you need help with your activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, grooming, walking/transferring, etc.), you may qualify for up to $2,169 monthly tax free.

Secure The Funds You Need for Your Care

Those who put everything on the line should not have to go through the complex process of securing these benefits alone. These benefits can make a big difference in whether you are able to afford the long-term care you need here in Hall County or elsewhere, and we will be beside you every step of the way to protect your rights and interests.

The Elder Law of Georgia Difference

Our law firm uses a team approach. Attorney Eric Owens will help you apply for the veterans funds, simplifying the process while removing any concerns or doubts about the entire process.
